- Conduct studies on the use of economic and statistical methods to describe and explain the economic and social behaviour of forest users at various regional scales. This can involve the integration of landscape and biophysical characteristics into these models

- Explore the diverse timber and non-timber values of forests
- Develop and interpret statistics and indicators of resource-dependent community sustainability
