• investigates applications of remote sensing to forestry issues
• uses high resolution (<1m) digital imagery to extract forest inventory, damage parameters, and forest monitoring with remote sensing, and

• is the team lead for the change component of the Earth Observation for Sustainable Development project which maps and monitors Canada´s forests using satellite imagery.
