Juha Metsaranta is a research scientist at the Northern Forestry Centre (based in Ottawa). He conducts research on the interaction between forest carbon dynamics and climate change. His specialties include a broad range of disciplines such as uncertainty and sensitivity analysis, applications of tree-ring and sample plot data to productivity analysis, and forest carbon modelling.
