Stephanie Dumas received her Diploma from Forestry Technician program at Sault College in 2005. She then furthered her education with a B.Sc. Degree in Biology from Laurentian University in 2009.
Stephanie had worked as a co-op student at the Great Lakes Forestry Centre through the FSWEP program beginning in 2002. She worked as a Forestry Assistant for three consecutive summer terms collecting samples and organizing data for the LRTAP (Long-Range Transport of Air Pollutants) project.
In 2007, Stephanie joined the Insect Production Services team again through the FSWEP program working for the Great Lakes Forestry Centre for another two summer terms. She continued working for the IPS following graduation and in 2011 became an indeterminate employee. She is currently working in the new Insect Production and Quarantine Laboratories.
On her spare time, Stephanie enjoys hiking, fishing, hunting, camping, and spending time with friends and family.
