develops methods for mapping permanent land-use change from forest to non-forest for input to the CFS carbon budget model and for UNFCCC requirements
designs and conducts analyses of remote sensing, inventory and other records with federal, provincial and private partners to estimate rates of deforestation in Canada, and
is member of both the Digital Remote Sensing and Carbon Accounting Teams of the Canadian Forest Service.
