Remarks:
on ground; field collection 49; cap cinnamon, fibrillose; gills cinnamon orange; stem cinnamon above with fuzzy, yellow, slightly swollen bases; Ammirati says has spore measurements that fit better into the concept of C. croceus sensu lato although the sequence data indicates possibly C. polaris.
