Remarks: UVic Ring Rd. (E side). Specimens are older galls that are likely several years old. Eriophyoid mites were collected from the more succulent, slightly redder areas of gall tissue.

Remarks: PFC. The undersurface, near the basal part, of the leaves have a brown discoloration associated with feeding and reproduction of this eriophyoid mite.

Remarks: Gordon Head Rd. opposite Midgard (UVic). This bud gall has leaf tissue present as some shoots try to elongate and form leaves. The succulent bud tissue is red & cauliflower-like. An area of dead/hardened tissue is mite-free.
