Skimikin hybrid poplar plantation. Hybrid clone #189-437. First record of bud galls caused by this mite on a T X D. Specimens were found in association with 'bud galls' on the leaves.

Skimikin hybrid poplar plantation. 'Bud galls' on leaves. Clone #189-437. The galls look like & were associated with 'bud galls' on the branches of same tree. No eriophyoids were collected from these specimens.

Kalamalka Forest Service Res. Stn. Clone DTAC 8. The undersides of the leaves have orangy, scaly, 'leaf-bronzing' disease symptoms. This mite was identified in and on the bronzed areas.

MacBlo hybrid poplar plantation. T X M hybrid, clone #268-55. First record of 'leaf-bronzing' on a T X M hybrid caused by this mite. Bronzing is not as distinctly compartmentalized as in T X D hybrids or P. trichocarpa.
