Remarks:
At base of standing dead stem, under exfoliating (rolled-back) bark. Monomitic, gen. hyphae 2-3 um, clamps, walls thin to (mostly) 0.5 u thick-walled. Spore wall thin, hyaline, smooth.

On lower surface of decorticated log. Grey, waxy when fresh. Drying pale ochraceous, translucent, v. thin. Pilose under a lens. Monomitic, gen. hyphae 2-5 um, clamps, walls thin to 1 u thick-walled. Spore wall thin, hyaline, smooth. Cystidia conical encrust. 100 u, project to 100 u, some embedded, walls thickened. Basidia 4 sterig., ea 5 u long, slender

Remarks:
Hyphoderma subpubera n. sp? On wood, sometimes under peeling bark. Smooth, cream colour, adnate, crustose, margins white. Hyphidia simple, 3-4 ud, typically wavy. Carp 330 u thick or only 130 u. Basal layer closely packed.

Remarks:
In Pseudotsuga menziesii & Pinus ponderosa forest. Stipes with brown exterior, gills bright orange. Pileus with small umbo to slightly depressed, pale yellow, some pale olive tint on disc. Mycelium at stipe base pallid. Fresh spore print on glass white (enclosed).
