Bark and terminal weevils of the genus *Pissodes*

The systematics of the genus Pissodesis being investigated with a variety of techniques. Research has focused primarily on the Pissodes strobi-complex of species and includes studies of mitochondrial DNA and morphology. Two new species from China have been described. The goal of this work is a taxonomic revision of all world species.
