Stand management can later the susceptibility of some lodgepole pine stands to mountain pine beetle attack. In this booklet, stand density management diagrams are used to illustrate concepts important to managing stands to reduce tree, stand, and landscape susceptibility to epidemic outbreaks of mountain pine beetle.
