She began her career as a summer student at the Great Lakes Forestry Centre in 2008. In 2012, she joined Insect Production and Quarantine Laboratories (IPQL) as a technician. In 2016, she advanced to a permanent technologist role. Today, she oversees IPQL’s insect colonies and supervises technologists, casual staff, and students, ensuring efficient operations and high standards in insect rearing and research support.
