Profile

Amanda Roe joined the Great Lakes Forestry Centre in 2016 as a research scientist in the Integrated Pest Management Division. She provides scientific leadership for the Insect Production and Quarantine Laboratories and is an integral part of the unit’s scientific team.

Education

She holds a bachelor’s degree in environmental biology (2001) and a doctorate in ecology, evolution, systematics, and population biology (2006), completing both degrees at the University of Alberta.
