Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support for research in forest entomology
- Perform flight mill experiments, specifically looking at flight behaviour of the Brown Spruce Longhorn Beetle, Tetropium fuscum
- Perform various tasks in the field which include trapping, collecting and identifying the Brown Spruce Longhorn Beetle along with other types of Wood boring Insects
- Maintain a working inventory of all field and lab materials
- Reassess field plots and determine the annual impact of the Brown Spruce Longhorn Beetle

- Preparation of insect specimens for research collection purposes
