Member of the Forest Information and Analysis team. Specialist in GIS application programming, using various programming languages including Python. Focused on designing and building applications to analyze remotely sensed data for forestry.

Major projects include: The National Terrestrial Ecosystem Monitoring System (NTEMS) that creates annual national composite images for the years 1984–present from more than 200,000 Landsat images for forest monitoring including change detection, change attribution, forest structural and species modelling, temporal land classification, and hydrology. The Lot’s of Plots project that analyzed 25,000 km of LiDAR data over the Canada’s boreal forest. The data was used to model and extend various forest structural attributes for all of Canada’s forests.
