Jérôme Laganière is a research scientist at the Laurentian Forestry Centre in Quebec. His research aims to better understand the environmental impacts of forest biomass harvesting and its use as an energy source. In addition to his research on bioenergy, he is interested in the functioning of forest soils, particularly carbon dynamics, in the context of forest management, climate change, and land use.
