Profile

  • Joined the Canadian Forest Service in 1993

Areas of interest:

  • Development of geospatial approaches, methods and models that integrate remote sensing and geographical information systems data to monitor forest landscapes and provide spatially-explicit data and information to support inventory, monitoring and forecasting within an ecosystem-based management framework

Current Graduate Student Advisory Committees:

  • Randal Greene, Memorial University of Newfoundland, A GIS-based multiple criteria approach to support integrated land management decision making (Co-supervisor)
  • Emilie Lessard, Université de Sherbrooke, Development of GIS models for predicting and mapping fibre attributes from forest inventory and environmental attributes, (Co-supervisor)

Awards
