Number of large fires (Boulanger, Y., Gauthier, S.)

The number of large fires across Canada refers to the annual number of fires greater than 200 hectares (ha) that occur per 100,000 ha and was calculated per Homogeneous Fire Regime (HFR) zones, which are areas that have similar fire return intervals.
