Remarks: On needle layer under ~40 cm diameter Abies lasiocarpa and Picea engelmannii. Pileus 11.5 cm diam. when fresh. Surface glabrous, grey to pale blueish grey with a few irregular patches of pale orange. Flesh white with 2-4 mm band of pale orange beneath pileipellis and above tubes. Tubes white, 3 mm deep, flesh very fine (not fibrous). Stipe 5 cm long, 1.8 cm diam., narrowing at base. Pore mouths round, white even.

Remarks: On needle layer under ~40 cm diameter Abies lasiocarpa and Picea engelmannii. Monimitic, tramal gen. hyphae 3-9 um, clamps, walls hyaline, thin-walled. Spore wall thin, warted, pale yellow in KOH. Basidia 4 sterigmate. Field collection no. 12067
