Remarks: Growing gregarious (8-10) on a prominent hummock amongst Opuntia fragilis (brittle prickly pear) and Artemisia tridentata. Near the confluence of Churn Creek and the Fraser River in Churn Creek Protected Area. No evidence of other fruiting bodies in surrounding landscape despite thoroughly searching.
