Remarks:
On bark on lower surface of recently fallen dead twig, 15 mm diam. When fresh adnate, to 1.5 cm diam. Deep reddish grey, smooth to tuberculate, tubercles small (+/- 1 mm diam.) when dry. Margins incurled, hym dark grey with lilac tint. Peniophora pithya but no lampro cyst. Monomitic, hyphae 3-5 um, thin-walled. Field collection no. 10963

On lower surface of 15 cm diam. log. Spore wall thin, hyaline, smooth. Margin with occasional setae. Hyph 2-4 ud. Simple-sept, hyal to brown, thin to 1 u thick.
