Remarks: Under Douglas-fir. Cap hemispherical to somewhat plane, vinaceous, viscid, 5 cm+. Gills decurrent, grey. Flesh white; odour nil. Stipe cyl, rooting. 6 x 1 cm, core solid, white with yellow over basal 1/3 to 1/2, exterior white above gray to black ring, below ring white/tan to black. Cap sometimes with black splotches
