Remarks: Among grasses on mowed lawn. Stipe cylindrical to 6.5 cm long, 5 mm diam., exterior glabrous. Finely longitudinally striate, slightly twisted/spiralling, basal 1.5 cm pure white, remainder of stipe near Empire Yellow (Ridgeway) on one carp, and with red tints over yellow in the other carp. Stipe core white, longitudinally fibrous, nearly solid with narrow hollow core. Cap conical, 2.5 cm diam., glabrous, waxy, intense red (near Carmine). Margin broadly lobed. Gills yellow (near Buff Yellow), some with weak red tint, not blackening when bruised. Flesh < 1 mm, yellow. Carps lacking black stains when collected and not blackening when scraped, except base of one stipe. Odour nil.
