Remarks: On open rocky hillside atop bluff, near Amelanchier alnifolia with Selaginella. 6 cm diam. Spores globose, infreq. Broadly ellipsoid. 5-6 u diam. On 2% KOH wall 0.5-0.7 u thick, dark grey with weak pink tint, spiny. One guttule. Cyl hyphae 2-5 u diam., infrequently branches, walls grey, ca 0.5 u thick.
