Remarks: On bark of dead branch in the crown of a live Pinus ponderosa tree. Hyp. 3-5 u diam., clamps, walls 0.5-1 u thick, closely packed. Cys in margin. Hymen near Cinnamon-Drab with pink tint. Margin narrow, white (0.5 mm).

Remarks: In pure pine stand on surface of soil among needles. Single or clustered, largest 2 cm diam., exterior glabrous, pale yellow brown with distinct mottling of nose. Firm when collected, becoming more flexible/leathery on drying. In sect. rind <0.1 mm thick, core pale olive, multichambered, ea. pit ca 0.5 mm diam. Odor nil. Field collection no. 10446

Remarks: On bark of lower side of branch on ground (6cm diameter). Hymen smooth, membrane tough near Cartridge Buff. Subic. Pale to distinct yellow, few yellow strands cottony. Margin then adnate, radiating, fine strands, white. KOH on fresh hymen not staining carp.

Remarks: On lower side of old cut fallen branch. Monomitic, hyphae 3-6um, thin to 1.5u-thick walled, simple septate. Spore wall thin, hyaline, smooth. Subhymen a pale yellow in rather thick sections on KOH. Small drop KOH on fresh hymen stains dark red brown and permanent surface pink (Shrimp Pink to Pinkish Buff).
