Environmental genomics

Description

  1. Develop molecular tools and a metapopulational model for assessing the short- and long-term impacts of hybrid varieties on the genetic diversity of native species.
  2. In parallel, measure the risk of pollen contamination between genetically modified trees (GMTs) and their non-transgenic cousin species by estimating the gene flow between plantations of exotic trees and natural stands of native trees in Larix and Populus.
