Abstract
To remain competitive, Canada's forest industry is dependent on a well-trained work force. The key to development of these human resources is timely information on the needs, problems, and composition of the forestry labor force. This study provides a socio-economic profile of workers currently engaged in silviculture activities in Newfoundland and Labrador.
