Abstract
This report presents a summary of the aerial spray applications carried out to protect Canadian forests from insect attack from 1945 to 1990. The data are taken from reports to the Annual Pest Control Forum, and its predecessor organization, the Interdepartmental Committee on Forest Spraying Operations (ICFSO) and preceding committees. Operational spray applications summaries are given by province and year, and research spray applications are listed by year and province. Appendixes also provide information on applications done in the United States, and list the insects targeted and the insecticides and aircrafts used.
