Males of the spruce budmoth, Zeiraphera canadensis, were caught in pheromone traps baited with a synthetic sex attractant. Temperature and precipitation during the trapping period were also recorded. Results show that the flight period of males is short and that meteorological conditions greatly influence the number of moths caught in the traps.
