One hundred and one aphid species, collected with Malaise traps are listed from hardwood stands in Southern Quebec. One species, Eriosoma (Schizoneura) grossulariae (Schüle), was found for the first time in North America; 15 species were new to Canada and 26 to Quebec. Malaise traps are useful tools to evaluate aphid fauna in a given area.
