Abstract

Form factor and volume tables were constructed on the basis of data for 365 hybrid poplar trees from selections from the U.S. Forest Service Northeastern Experimental Station. This report contains two form factor tables, two bole volume tables, and two standard volume tables (inside and outside bark). These tables are exceptionally accurate, with an error rate ranging between 7.4 and 7.7 percent.
