The following report is a descriptive analysis of three plantations in Quebec. The chosen plantations, aged twenty, thirty and forty, are made up of the most common species used for reforestation. An inventory permitted an analysis of their growth on different site types and also an evaluation of their yields. An aggregation of the results thus obtained were used to build productivity classes for red pine and white spruce, based on unit standing volume as a productivity index. A sample tree stem analysis was also conducted for the Harrington plantation.
