Mark record

A microsporidian infection and a decrease in the numbers of eggs laid by females appeared simultaneously in populations of Pristiphora erichsonii. Microscopic examinations of infected and healthy females indicated that the microsporidian infection had caused a reduction in fertility of infected females.
