A new species, Pseudophacidium garmanii (Ascomycetes: Phacidiales), is described from interior spruce (Picea glauca (Moench) Voss and P. engelmannii Parry) in British Columbia, Canada. The anamorph is a Myxofusicoccum, but sometimes the apothecia are also partly or entirely conidial.
