Abstract
In the framework of a revision of the genus Neuquenaphis E.E. Blanchard, 1939, we treat Spicaphis Essig, 1953 as a subgenus (n. stat.) and we reconsider some commonly accepted synonymies : N. (N.) bulbicauda is restored as a valid species and not regarded as a synonym of N. (S.) chilensis Essig, 1953 but Spicaphis michelbacheri Essig, 1953 is proposed as a n. syn. of N. (S.) chilensis. Two new species are described : N. (N.) neobulbicauda n. sp. and N. (N.) staryi n. sp. Keys are presented for the known morphs, apterous and (or) alate, of the 12 species of the genus. Neuquenaphidinae and Taiwanaphidinae are established as new subfamilies. The Phyllaphidinae, n. stat., and the Myzocallidinae, nom. nov. for "Callaphididiae Börner", partim. are defined and compared with 12 other subfamilies of Aphididae.
