Abstract
Larvae of the chalcid Megastigmusspermotrophus in Douglas-fir seeds were killed when treated at 45 °C for 27 h (2-year-old seed) and for 33 h (1-year-old seed). Heat treatment of uninfested seed did not affect rate of germination of seedling growth.
