Abstract
Inhibition of in vitro translation by material(s) that co-purifies with RNA obtained from 6- to 12-week-old western white pine (Pinus monticola Dougl. ex Lamb.) and sugar pine (Pinus lambertiana Dougl.) seedlings was demonstrated. A method that consistently produces inhibitor-free poly(A+) RNA from small amounts of total RNA isolated from these seedlings is described.
