Abstract
The toxic principle in sporulatcd cultures of Bacillus sotto, which causes paralysis and death in bombyx mori larvae, is associated with the crystalline inclusions produced by Ihis microorganism. The toxin is not present as a typical exotoxin but is soluble either in silkworm gut juice or dilute alkali solultions.
