Abstract

We report two species of Eucinetidae, Nycteus oviformis (LeConte) and N. punctulatus (LeConte), new to New Brunswick, Canada and confirm the presence of N. testaceus (LeConte). Nycteus oviformis (LeConte) is newly recorded from the Maritime provinces. Five species of Scirtidae are newly recorded for New Brunswick. Cyhon padi L., C. ruficollis (Say), Prionocyphon discoideus (Say), and Sacodes pulchella (Guérin-Méneville) are new for the Maritime provinces; Elodes maculicollis Horn is new to New Brunswick. Collection and bionomic data are presented for all these species.
