Abstract
A synopsis of establishment data for 10 installations in Douglas-fir plantations and naturally established stands 15 to 62 years of age is provided. The measurement period varies from 10 to 47 years. In addition to standard mensurational data, the records contain accurately charted stem coordinate maps, making the information of considerable value for growth and yield studies, including the evaluation of competitive stress analysis.
The data, accessible through a computerized retrieval and data analysis program at the Pacific Forest Research Centre, Victoria, should prove useful in the development of Douglas-fir growth and yield, and disease depletion simulators.
