Abstract
The rate of spread of Armillaria ostoyae (Romagnesi) Herink was calculated from observations over 20 years on plots in two Douglas-fir (Pseudotsuga menziesii (Mirb.) Franco) plantations in the southern interior of British Columbia. Average rates of spread in active disease centers ranged from 0.7-1.3 m/yr.
